Christmas 2021, The New Wellington for Christmas lunch

Competition is a wrapped present won by Brenda Marks
We met on Wednesday 8th December and had a Christmas meal at The New Wellington, Newmarket. As previously we had a wide menu to chose from and the food was excellent.  Unusually we met at lunch time but after the COVID restrictions we have all undergone it made for a relaxing time with members, and their chauffeurs, not concerned at driving home in the dark.  We held a raffle and everyone went home clutching a Christmas present.  We plan to meet again on Wednesday 5th January when we will go through the WI Resolutions and more importantly hold a Bring and Buy sale.  (Upcycle your unwanted Christmas presents before they gather dust).  We will also be collecting for the WI campaign for the end of violence against women so any donations will be very welcome. 7.30 p.m. at Saxon Street Methodist Church Hall. Visitors welcome.
